This beach house design is a work in progress for exclusive
Ono Island in Orange Beach Alabama. The narrow lot has high dunes, so a round all glass room extends towards the water positioned on the highest dune for a fabulous fun view. Ono Island is a small exclusive island near the Gulf in Alabama right on the FL / Ala border.As it turned out, this home was never built. The clients had health issues and decided not to build at this time. Still, it is a great design for a beach location where dunes are part of the landscape. While everyone wants a nice ocean view from their beach house, it is also very important to build in a way that does not disturb the dunes which protect our beaches when storms arrive.

The all concrete construction of DAC-ART Building System
would result in a maintenance free hurricane proof beach home for a narrow lot.
