I'm sending some Christmas layouts that I have done
with your sets..I don't claim to be a perfectionist at this but I do enjoy it so much....I
am not sure about this scanning thing but I did do them in JPG format....I will be sending
some Heritage pages later...Thanks Lillie

This one is of my late husband as a child..I printed the page on green
card stock and used trim from another page....
|

This one is of my late husband and his brother and sister who are also deceased..I printed
on light blue card stock and added the corners..I then added the sticker that says'
remember me when this you see'.....

THE GIRL I USED TO BE
She came tonight as I sat alone
The girl I used to be
And she gazed at me with earnest eye
And questioned reproachfully
Have you forgotten the many plans and hopes I had for you?
The great career, the splendid fame, all the wonderful things to do
Where is the mansion of stately height, with all its gardens rare
The silken robes that I dreamed for you and the jewels in your hair
And as she spoke, I was very sad, for I wanted her pleased with me
This slender girl from the shadowy past, that girl I used to be
So gently rising, I took her hand and guided her up the stairs
Where peacefully sleeping, my babies lay innocent, sweet and fair
And I told her that these were my only gems, and precious they are to me
That silken robes is my motherhood, of costly simplicity
And my mansion of stately height is love, and the only career I know
Is serving each day in these sheltered walls, For the dear ones who come and go
And as I spoke to my shadowy guest, she smiled through her tears at me
And I saw the woman that I am now...PLEASED the girl I used to be |

Old photos of my mother-in-laws family..Used green card stock and trim
and frames from the Heritage sets...
|
This is of my Mother-in-law at age 16...She is
the strongest lady that I know..I had a poem that I thought suited her perfectly so I
added it to the bottom...In case someone wants to know the poem is attached...I find that
the doily pattern takes on what ever the color of card stock is used, so this page is
perfect for a lot of different pages... |
