This was a quickie page that used the yellow stripe background sheet from the Moving Day Set. This sheet was trimmed and mounted on green acid free construction paper. The photos were matted with the same paper. I cut out the lined 'die-cut' house for Danna to write her own journaling about moving from the suburbs to a rural area outside Memphis. The title cut-outs are from the Moving Set. They were moved by Harry Wilder's Complete Moving Service. The best mover in the Memphis area.
Here I printed the page with the stacks of boxes already on it. I matted the photos with red acid free construction paper & trimmed off some of the extra, non interesting parts of the photos. I cut out two of the 'die-cuts'. On one I wrote the page title 'Good Friends Come to Help. The other has a verse from the Bible that seemed appropriate, 1st Peter4;10. "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in it's various forms."!! The whole thing was trimmed of extra white and mounted on a great plum colored acid free construction paper from Sam's Club.
BOXES,BOXES,BOXES Do we ever realize how much STUFF we have until it is time to pack and move?? Simple page here, two photos matted with red construction paper, one sheet of Moving Set graphics printed on card stock, and one line from the page title sheet cut out and matted with red. I usually overlap one photo on another when there is a boring part of a photo but in a place that does not lend it'self to being cropped off. The corner of this room is a good example. I trimmed the sides of the top photo a little bit. Moving to a new house can be messy!
OK everybody ! No scratches on Danna's new hand painted floor! Another fast to make page--one photo just glued with a glue stick to the center of the printed sheet from the Moving Set. One page title cut out and attached & one 'die-cut' cut out and written on and glued down. The printed page was trimmed and mounted on plum colored construction paper.
