Scrapbooking and Cardmaking Die Cut Machines
There are several scrapbooking and cardmaking die cutting machines on the market that you can at home. They range in price from under a hundred dollars to over $500. Different types of die cut machines have different functions. To chose the one that fits your needs, you will need to do a bit of research. Expect the features of newer models to explode too, just as technology is in general. Even tho these machines are not cheap, if you use it to make things that you would otherwise purchase, you can justify the cost. Examples might be greeting cards, table decorations, bulletin board decorations, kids craft kits for Vacation Bible School, Scouts, etc... Xyron Wishblade --The Wishblade is an upgrade of the original Xyron personal cutting system. It is a computerized die cut machine that you hook to your home computer. The Wishblade uses computer software to electronically create different scrapbook die cuts. The Wishblade hooks up to your computer and you print designs to a color printer and use the Wishblade to cut them out. The Wishblade comes with special "Create & Cut" software. You can join the Yahoo Wishblade Group and they have a lot of good information. The machine requires media cards which are expensive, but you can get around that by joining the Wishblade Group and they will walk you through the process of downloading a program that will help you to connect your Wishblade to your computer and download and create files from the web.
