| We have
made lots of photo's in Canada. Before scrapping my own I have made some layouts for my
relatives over there with the photo's I have promised to send them. This one has been made
with an alphabet from Colorful Alphabets Set and I used horizontal- background
from Spring Backgrounds Set. I have made some stitches at the white printed square around
the photo using cross stitching fibers in a matching color. The purple stripe and paper I
have used for the diagonal stripe and letter matting border is a paper out of my own
supplies.
Petra Raven from the Netherlands TIP from Lundy: For a 12 x 12 in scrapbook, you could use the same technique of piecing two prints of the background and covering the spliced line with a strip of colored solid paper like Petra did. Smart Girl !! Then mat your 11 x 11 in printed background on a solid color 12 x 12 piece. |
